Data storage

StoneNotes stores all data in a primary database file, by default located under your user profile at %AppData%\StoneNT\main.st3. This file is created when you first launch StoneNotes, and contains some example content.

Content that you download from our DLC store is stored under %AppData%\StoneNT\dlc\. Some additional core files that are updated by the system when you install StoneNotes are located at %AppData%\StoneNT\dlc\core\.

To help prevent data loss it is recommended that you copy all of these files to external storage on a regular basis, or configure your backup system to make a copy of these files.
